Sonoma Public Infrastructure

Sonoma Public Infrastructure was created in 2022, consolidating two county departments, General Services and Transportation and Public Works to maximize efficiency, reduce redundancy, and improve delivery of services. Among its many responsibilities across Sonoma County’s 1,768 square miles, Public Infrastructure oversees public building repair and maintenance, infrastructure and capital projects, airport, water systems, multiple waste disposal sites, transit, and internal administrative services in addition to repairing and maintaining all Sonoma-county roads.
