Volunteer for the Homeless Count

two women volunteers looking at a clipboard

Approximately 150-175 community volunteers are needed for the count each year. Volunteers work with paid guides who have experienced homelessness and canvass all census tracts across the county.  Deployment sites are based in Santa Rosa, Guerneville, Healdsburg, Petaluma, and Sonoma Valley.

A series of trainings will be held for volunteers. More information on the next PIT count coming soon.
