T-O-T-A-L-L-Y: A One-Woman Show of Healing, Humor, and Transformation
In recognition of Sexual Assault Awareness Month, the Commission on Human Rights, in partnership with Santa Rosa Junior College, hosted a moving event on Tuesday, April 28, 2026, featuring Kimleigh Smith and her powerful one-woman show. Through an intimate and deeply personal performance, Smith guided the audience through the stages of her healing journey following sexual assault. Her storytelling confronts silence and transforms it into strength, showing how reclaiming one’s voice can be an essential step toward healing. While trauma is never the survivor’s fault, her message underscores that the path to recovery—though difficult—is a deeply personal and empowering process.
