Join Sonoma County for a meeting to review the draft 2026 Multi-Jurisdictional Hazard Mitigation Plan. This plan is the result of a year-long planning process involving the county, all municipalities, and 12 special districts.
The Hazard Mitigation Plan is updated on a five-year cycle and is required to maintain County eligibility for FEMA Hazard Mitigation Assistance grants. The plan analyzes the County’s risk from natural hazards, identifies County mitigation capabilities, and outlines a strategy that reduces the County’s risk from natural hazards.
