The mission of the LAAC is to provide recommendations on how best to implement federal and state laws regarding access to the electoral process for voters whose primary language is not English. Topics on the agenda for the August 2026 meeting include updates regarding the June 2, 2026, Statewide Direct Primary Election, bilingual poll worker recruitment, outreach events, and reviewing the SoCoVotes.com website (specifically, the Language Assistance and Poll Worker Information pages).
