Vendor Application Information and Requests for Proposals


Applications to Provide Services to Older Adults and People with Disabilities (Ongoing)

The Human Services Department (HSD) is accepting applications to provide services to older adults. HSD's Adult & Aging Division provides social and health care management for older adults 60 years of age or older and people living with disabilities who wish to remain in their own homes or a community setting to avoid institutional care. Service needs are assessed in coordination with the client and documented in care plans developed by Adult & Aging staff.

Qualified respondents who submit applications will be considered for contracts on a case-by-case basis, dependent on program needs and client service needs. Submitting an application does not guarantee a contract with the County.

Applications for the 2024-2027 contract term will be accepted any time after 4/15/2024.

Applications to Provide Therapeutic Services (Ongoing)

The Sonoma County Human Services Department Family, Youth & Children’s Services Division (FY&C) is accepting applications from individuals and organizations with the experience, qualifications, and capacity to provide therapeutic services to individuals, couples, families, and in groups, for parents, children and families who are involved in the child welfare system. Therapeutic Services being procured through this application process include psychotherapy, psychological evaluations, neuropsychological evaluations, domestic violence services for victims, batterer intervention services for perpetrators, therapeutic visitation services, specialized therapy services and alternative therapeutic services.

Applications to Provide Psychosocial Assessments (ongoing)

The Sonoma County Human Services Department Family, Youth & Children’s Services Division (FY&C) is accepting applications from individuals and agencies with the experience, qualifications, and capacity to perform Resource Family Approval (RFA) Psychosocial Assessments. FY&C has elected to utilize contracted licensed adoption service agencies and licensed clinicians to perform the functions of and write the report for the psychosocial assessment portion of the Permanency Assessment as part of the Resource Family Approval process.

Applications to Provide Professional Development and Organizational Development Services to the Human Services Department (Ongoing)

Applications will be accepted on an on-going basis. 

Professional Development and Organizational Development services may be delivered only after an application is approved and a contract signed by both the applicant and the County. Submitting an application does not guarantee a contract with the County. Applicants who contract with the County are not guaranteed work, and services are compensated on a fee-for-service basis.

Applications to Provide SonomaWORKS Learning Disability Testing

This Request for Applications (RFA) is being issued by the County of Sonoma Human Services Department, Employment and Training Division, which offers employment and wrap-around supportive services to residents of Sonoma County. The purpose of this RFA is to establish a vendor list of testers approved by the County to provide diagnostic testing for learning disabilities and to prepare reports and accommodation recommendations based on those test results for HSD clients.

Applications to Provide SonomaWORKS Workshops & Trainings

The Sonoma County Human Services Department Employment and Training Services Division is accepting applications from agencies with the experience, qualifications, and capacity to administer workshops and training services to SonomaWORKS participants. The goal of this program is to provide supportive training opportunities that will aid in stress and barrier reduction while providing supplemental skill building opportunities.
